In March 2026, Vox Pop was selected as the Civic Technology Partner for the Emerging Leaders Charter session at Anthropy26, held at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Anthropy is the UK's largest cross-sector leadership gathering, bringing together over 2,000 chief executives, founders, chairs, and senior public figures to shape the national conversation on leadership and society.

Our founder Anita Okunde was chosen as an Anthropy Emerging Leader and appointed to moderate the closing charter session: a live, facilitated process in which the Emerging Leaders cohort built a collective set of commitments to take forward from the conference.

Rather than relying on traditional note-taking or a moderator summary, the session ran entirely through the Vox Pop platform. Participants used a private Vox Pop community to share priorities and debate key themes in the days before the event. During the live session itself, the room voted in real time on charter commitments as they were built, with sentiment data displayed on screen as the clauses took shape. The resulting charter was formally submitted to the Minister for Youth as an official Anthropy output.

It was the first time the Emerging Leaders Charter had been built using live civic technology, and the first time the collective voice of the cohort had been captured in structured, exportable data rather than a moderator's notes.

The partnership demonstrated what Vox Pop's Policy Arena can do beyond schools and youth audiences: structured deliberation, real-time sentiment capture, and a written output that goes somewhere. The same infrastructure that helps a Year 10 class debate climate policy helped 220 cross-sector leaders draft a charter that landed on a minister's desk.
